DYNAMO

This slow speed dynamo is belted to the Berry engine shown above as it was at a well near Petrolia, PA.  Producing 3 kw of DC power, it provided some lights in the power house as well as in the home of the well operator.  Note the panel board in the background.  The dynamo was made by Bullock Electric of Erie, PA.  The well and installation was owned by Prior Berry, the son of the engine designer.
