Cooling System 


On the rise behind the Pump House is the entire water storage and cooling system. Note the side shaft Renfrew engine, a Badger in the USA, driving the stationary radiator. The large steel tank provides a gravity pressure head of 5 psi to all the engine water jackets. The wood tank holds a reserve supply.

Worthington Pump 


Located between the Otto and Triplex is a small Worthington steam pump built in Buffalo NY. It would have been typical to use as a boiler feed-water pump. It does run on compressed air and is included for display purpose only. It was found in the oil field and prior use is unknown. It came here in the early 1970s.
