ALBERGER
This engine, built in Buffalo, NY, is the only tandem single acting
engine in the museum. It
has two cylinders in tandem and works on the head end of each to produce
80 hp. It is 13 x 13 bore
and stroke. It is circa
1900. Original use was to
power a Deane Triplex water pump at the Mt. Jewett, PA water works.
It is undergoing restoration in this photo and it is incomplete.
