Machine Works Building - Introduction

Sometimes it takes a little while for a plan to come together.  In the case of the Machine Works Building, it was about 44 years!  Paul Harvey began constructing the building in 1974, as seen in the first photo.  The Machine Works was intended to be a machine shop, hence its name.

Other priorities intervened and the building became a storage facility.  Following a major renovation that began in 2014, the Machine Works officially opened on October 18, 2018, as an exhibit space for special engines.
