Coolspring Power Museum: Powered by Volunteers
Coolspring Power Museum is a testament to the power of volunteers!
The museum is an all-volunteer operation. Our dedicated and hard working staff of volunteers performs so many tasks. Our volunteers interpret and demonstrate engines for our visitors, restore engines, construct exhibits, and organize shows. They also perform the management, communications, publications, financial, and support roles needed by the museum. The photos below recognize many of our volunteers.
Please consider volunteering at the museum. We especially need your help during our June, July, and October Shows. Our needs include admission gate staff, coordination at the parking fields, and docents to help interpret the collections in the exhibit buildings. We also have many projects, large and small, to be accomplished during our Open Days. See our Events page for the schedule of activities at the museum.
